The inspirations behind Parana

Parana, a South American river, means ''parent of the sea''.

It is the confluence, the unexpected encounter that leads to a new horizon.

The thin band merges to a subtle curve crowned with a slightly light-blue cultured diamond.

The ring is an invitation to staking as it will gently welcome others.

It perfectly matches with our Ili Ring for instance!

Together, we can change how jewellery is made and worn.
To look good and do good.

  • Slavery free
  • Chemicals free

  • Carbon free

Wear beautiful jewellery without harming the planet

We only use two materials to craft our jewellery:

Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds cultivated in a laboratory using the latest technology. They are the same as mined diamonds, with much less negative ecological and human impact.

18 karat recycled gold as we believe it is better to reuse existing materials rather than mining new ones. We bring new life to this beautiful metal and reduce the amount of waste discarded to the landfill.

Feel good knowing nobody got hurt

Although things improved since the movie Blood Diamonds, the diamond and gold industries are still far from being transparent regarding how their materials are being mined and by who.

As highlighted by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, "it’s clearer than ever that the Kimberley Process is not up to the task. The trade in diamonds still gives rise to serious human rights violations."

By choosing to exclusively work with 18k recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds to craft our pieces, we are not involved in the mining process, and our consciences are clear

Say no to chemicals and industrial processes

To make white gold, rhodium is used in a thin layer on top of the gold alloy.  This process of plating creates large quantities of acids and noxious byproducts that must be discarded.

To make pink gold, copper is added to give the red coloration to the gold alloy. Unfortunately, when in contact with oxygen, copper badly and quickly  tarnishes. Rose gold rings become black and your skin turns greenish.

All our pieces are handmade in our workshop in Jaipur, India, using only 18 karat recycled yellow gold. Our planet is more important than more profit.

Embrace a plastic free habit

We avoid single-use plastic packaging and look for innovative solutions to create the “perfect” sustainable packaging.

Our jewellery boxes are made from a solid piece of beautiful timber, sourced from sustainable forests. Our partner ensures that the balance and biodiversity of the surrounding area are maintained.

Our shipping boxes are handmade from recycled cardboard. It is custom made for each order, to avoid material waste.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

On a carbon neutral journey

We would not be truly sustainable if we did not take into account the carbon footprint generated by our operations

We calculate the carbon footprint generated by the craft of your piece of jewellery as well as the shipment to deliver it to you from Singapore and we plant trees to offset this carbon footprint.

To do so, we partnered with EcoMatcher, an organization that supports local communities in various parts of the world to improve their livelihood by planting trees.
